It was just like a movie..

Hello everyone!

Next step in my islands adventure was Tenerife. It’s one of the biggest islands in whole archipelago and what’s going whit it- one of the most beautiful as regards nature and climate. We got there in the evening and  we spent there another two days. The weather was still amazing as befits tropical countries.

Tenerife associated with lots of nature for me.  We were on a day trip in outstanding National Park. As always it couldn’t go without surprises. When we were driving up volcano , our bus broke down. It didn’t stop us from having amazing time. View was breathtaking and everybody started to taking photos.

We left Tenerife and sailed straight to Gran Canaria. When we were again on the open sea we saw dolphins! I felt just like in a movie.

Despite it , thought about going back home and ending of the forthcoming ending of adventure of my life was making me more and more sad.. Nothing lasts forever but I wanted it to.

I must go now. Till next time guys !

Captain, islands on the horizon!

Hi guys!

When finally on the horizon there were Canary Islands, mood in our group has changed. On the one hand we were happy that we finally reached our destination ,but on the other hand everybody became sad. We knew that soon our adventure is going to end. Despite it ,we wanted to do more with time that we had.

Before us there was still about a week on Canary Islands. First Island we visited La Gomera.  The capitol city- San Sebastian- was great. Completely different world- different climate, nature , buildings and even different people. We spent there 2 days, a bit short in my opinion, but it was enough for having fun. As always we went sightseeing and exploring new place. The weather was great for us.

In the evening we decided to organize some party in our marina. When the music was playing and we were dancing, some people we didn’t know, joined us and whole port was having fun together. It was unforgettable! With a bit sadness we left La Gomera behind.

Till next time!

Portugal again

Hello everyone!

It’s time for next part of my cruise. From Cascais we sailed straight to Albufeira, so we were still in Portugal. I fell in love with that country.

We were standing there only a few hours. It was a pity, because we didn’t have much time to walking around and going sightseeing.  Fortunately , I had a time to do some shopping , take pictures and, what was the best, swim in the ocean again.

Fryderyk Chopin’s next destination were Canary Islands.  Expected time on the sea was about week, but the wind wasn’t favorable to us. We weren’t almost moving, so our captain made the best possible decision.  We stopped off at anchor and spent whole day on swimming and sunbathing. Jumping from the ship to the ocean is one of my best memories from the cruise.  I regret that it didn’t last longer. Wish, I could do this again.

That’s all for now. Bye guys!

Antelope. #23

Antelopes occur in much of Australia, Africa and Asia with the highest concentration of species occurring in East Africa in Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Somalia, Kenya, and Tanzania. These are for example the gazelles, blackbucks, springboks, gerenuks, dibatags and Central Asian gazelles.

Antelopes live in different types of habitats: a large part chooses forests or savannas, but also areas that are difficult to survive.

They are characterized by light body build, small head, long neck and long limbs. Usually only males have short corners.
It is worth remembering that gazelle is the colloquial name for smaller antelopes.

And antelopes are the colloquial name of 91 species of cloven-hoofed mammals belonging to the bovidae family and one species of the widłorogli family.

Thank you for reading my post. See you later.

Extreme ground sports #8 Pogo stick

Hello everyone

Sport with pogo stick is that involves jumping off the ground with the help of a mechanism consisting of a spring, handles and a piece of plastic. With pogo help, you can jump on high heights and perform various tricks similar to those of parkour style for example reflection from the wall, somersault or just freestyle.

For this sport you need a helmet and shoes with no slippery soles. There is a legend according to which the pogo found invented by the boy for his daughter to make her it easier to walk without shoes through marshes or stony roads.

Dimitry Arsenyev from Russia broke the Guinness record in the amount of somersault made in the back for pogo. The price of such a bar varies from 300 to 600 PLN, and the difference between the more expensive and cheaper is the quality of the spring and shock absorbents.

Extreme ground sports #7 Street luge

Hello everyone

Street luge is a sport that was started by Californian children who were bored with ordinary skateboarding and decided to start sliding off the low hills lying on a skateboard on the stomach. Soon after, people riding professionally on boards noticed that in this way you can achieve much higher speed and they started to do it themselves.

Originally, this sport did not seem like bad until irresponsible people started continuation it on steep mountains or highways, not looking at the risk of collision or not noticing the vehicle and hitting the skateboard driver.

Currently, this sport is considered to be extemal, the growers are equipped with protectors and a helmet, and the skateboard is longer, similar to the long-board one. Beyond that, it is also worth equipping with solid shoes and leather gloves. In 2016, a world record of 164 km / h fell.

Extreme ground sports #6 Zorbing

Hello everyone

Zorbing is a sport consisting in entering into a transparent, inflatable ball and getting inside it from a high hill or sailing in it with the river current. This ball has safety belts and a person entering it can wear protectors.

However, it should be remembered that the higher the slope from which we descend, the final speed will be higher and the stop much harder. This sport comes from New Zealand, it was started by Zorbs Dwane and Andrew Akers. Zorbing is also often performed in various less dangerous varieties, for example

in pools with water in which children can enter the ball, which is additionally attached with a string to the ground.

The next variation of it may be a little less safe and not necessarily for children is playing football in zorbing balls, in which players can push and turn over what the game is significantly degraded.

The DUFF

Hello!

Today I will tell you about one of the most popular movie in the Polish cinema. I think that every teenager would like this movie.

Bianka (Mae Whitman) is a confident teenager,  until the moment she learns that she is "the DUFF" (Designated Ugly Fat Friend). Her "friends" need Bianka to be called this more beautiful. She'll be going to fight with this brutal true and make everyone aware that she isn't worthless. The only problem is that she is lazy and she doesn't feel like it. Of course there is a love plot.

It may seem sad, but it isn't at all. This is one of this american hilarious and stupid story. I recommend that.

See you soon/Julka

Planet single

Hello everybody!

Today I will tell you about in my opinion the best Polish romantic film.

Ania (Agnieszka Więdłocha) is charming, romantic and not confident teacher. She is looking for perfect men on the "Planet Single" website. By chance in Valentine's Day she meets Tomek (Maciej Stuhr). He runs a really controversial TV show. Ania's mistake at her date inspired Tomek to tell about it at his TV show. When Ania finally finally found that 'perfect men'.  Tomek must rescue his program  or maybe his feeling to Ania?

This beautiful story made me cry and I'm really proud of that this film was made in Poland. You can see this film in every age and I swear, everyone will be charmed with this film. I honestly recommend this.

I hope that you'll enjoy the film.
See you soon/Julka

Singin' in the rain

Hello everybody!

Today I will tell you about one of my favourite old movies. You must have heard the main song from the movie in the same name.

Don Lockwood (Gene Kelly) silent movie star
escaping from the crowd of fans, he gets into a   Kathy Selden's (Debbie Reynolds) car. During the talk, it turns out that Kathy is an actress, too. When they meet in the studio, Don falls in love with her. The cinema decided to make a film with a sound and it turned out not to be such an easy. To save film from tragic Lina's Lamont (Jean Hagen) vocals, Don and his friend Cosmo Brown (Donald O'Connor) decide to convert the movie into a musical.

If you are looking for a good timeless movie this is a excelent option for you. I warmly recommend it.

See you soon/Julka

Week in Portugal

Hi guys !

After a few days of sailing , we stopped in Cascais.  It’s kind of small city in Portugal. Not really small , but smaller than Szczecin.

Our port is located near to the capital of the country we were visiting. I’m talking about Lisbon, of course. We couldn’t waste an opportunity like that , so we went to a day trip. We weren’t regret that for even a moment.  Lisbon equals a lot of walking  - a lot of walking uphill- but it was worth it. It was one of the most memorable places  I visited on the cruise. Narrow streets , old street cars , hills and outstanding views – that’s Lisbon in few worlds.

Cascais was amazing, too. The most I remember , that it was there , where I swam in the ocean for the first time. We went to the beach , a whole group, and without thinking for even a second everybody run strait to the water. We spent  almost whole free time on sunbathing and swimming. Cascais as a city is really beautiful. The spirit , the sun and the ocean – amazing. I wish , someday I’ll be there again.

That’s all for today. Till next time!
