"Dance Moms" is a reality television series that you can watch on Lifetime. It was created by Collins Avenue Productions. Action is mainly set in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the Abby Lee Dance Company. The show is about a group of dancers, their mothers and dance teacher. They're quite young, the oldest one is Kalani and she's 15. The series show the performers during their dance competitions, rehearsals, photoshoots and stuff like that.
DANCERS:
- Mackenzie- the youngest dancer on the ALDC competition team; really good at acro and jazz, most of her routines consist of one of these dance styles; singer; has a no.1 song on Itunes; according to the cast Abby (dance teacher) has a soft spot for her
- Maddie-actress; Abby's favorite; good at lyrical and tapping; appeared in "Chandelier" and "Elastic Heart" music videos; has performed during The Grammys; almost always on the top of the pyramid
- Nia- acro and musical theater dancer; doesn't have many solos; Abby doesn't give her much attention; usually on the bottom of the pyramid
- Kendall- jazz and contemporary dancer; usually in the middle of the pyramid; singer;
- Jojo- jazz and contemporary dancer; the "sassy" one; isn't good at group dances; very good at improv
- Kalani- the oldest one; abby's second favorite; contemporary and lyrical dancer
Personally my favourite dancer is Maddie. In my opinion she's the most talented one on the competition team. She's the one that gets many jobs and parts in movies, music videos and stuff.
