Ahoy Spain!

Hi guys!

On the horizon there was Spain. Everybody was waiting for that. After Scandinavia and North Sea , a little sun and high temperature was like a dream.

When we stop in the port , we ceremonially sang a shanty called ‘Spanish Ladies’. Some people on the street started to recording it and taking photos of us. It was kind of funny , that we were like swimming tourist attraction.

 

The climate , atmosphere and spirit of Spain is outstanding. I was there two times before but I was extremely happy that I could visit that place once again. I love tropical countries. Palms, sun and ocean –  how could anyone ask for more ?

Our first Spanish port was La Coruna by the Atlantic Ocean. It was a bit too cold to swam in the ocean, but we had a great time in different ways.

Surprise on the sea

Hello everyone!

Guess what  happened! When I was thinking that nothing else can surprise me, on daily morning assembly , captain told us , that our ‘stop off’ in Plymouth is cancelled because of the weather. It meant that before us  there are two , maybe three weeks on the sea , again. Next planned port was in Spain.

First week was pretty calm. We sailed across the English Channel . The view was amazing. We were passing by a lot of container ships, so we had to be careful. 

It was time to swam out to the open ocean. Water was  crystal clear. Sun , breeze and wind in our sails. There is no place on earth like this. It was breathtaking. I’ll never forget it.

On the ship , nothing can be so easy. When we were sailing through place called Bay of Biscay ( near France) the storm came. Officers warned us , that there is no way to escape from the storm on Biscay. This time, we were ready!

Today I'm will tell you about one of the better netflix films that I have ever watched.

Young singer Jordan Jaye (Matthew Espinosa) was tired of the whole of his fame and missed his old life. One day Jordan's crew take a brake at the restaurant. He wasn't hungry so he discreetly went at the skateboard. When his crew take back they though that he was fall asleep. They went on without him, but in those moment they didn't know that. Jordan didn't know what to do with himself, he didn't have a phone so he went to the pub. There few of his fans attacked him so he sat down to girl wasn't interesed at him. And there beutiful story began.

Maybe it's not a story about one, true love but it perfectly show us how innocent can be a few days romance.

Hi!

Today I will tell you about film that isn't my favourite but a lot of my friends recommended it. So maybe I will encourage you to watch this and I'll be glad to find out what you think about it.

Tyler Hawkins (Robert Pattinson) is rebellious guy who after suicide his brother blame about everything his father. He smokes cigarettes, gets into fights, gets drunk and then think about life. As part of his revenge on the policeman, he decides to pick up his daughter Ally (Emilie de Ravin). This romance turned into something bigger.

I recommend this film to see that not every romantic films must be colourful.

Hello everyone!

Today I will tell you about excellent film which show us a beutiful love between two guys.

Zach (Trevor Wright) take care of his sick father and helps his sister im raising a 5 years old child every day. But he also has a passion, he loves art and surfing. One day he met older brother of his friend Shaun (Brad Rowe) and they fall in love quickly. Unfortunately with those feelings is associated many difficulties.

In my opinion this film is really good for everyone. I honestly recommend that.

Groundhog Day

Hello!

Phil Connros (Bill Murray) is weather presenter. On February 2nd went to the Punxsutawney to make a relation from Groundhog Day. According to legend if on February 2nd  Groundhog in the name Phil will see shadow of itself, winter will be 6 weeks longer. His sarcastic personality annoy the crew. He can't live the town because of snowstorm. When he woke up it turns out that there is February 2nd again and he must make a relation from Groundhog Day again. He stopped in time and everyday was February 2nd. Phil decides to use the time given to him. He realized that he fall in love with Rita ( girl from film crew) and decided to change himself.

This cult story is really funny and I think that most of us whatched rhis film but if not, I recommend that.

Whole week in port

Hi guys !

Today I’m going to tell you something obvious - Belgium is the capitol of chocolate.

 I spent there whole week and I was delighted. I visited only two cities : Ostend and Brugge , but I think I felt the spirit of this country.

Can you imagine something like this? You’re walking down the street and there are thousand shops with chocolate and many different sweets all around.  There are a lot of people , of course.  Sellers were so nice and always smiling. In every step you can try and taste some sweets for free. I remember a lot of flowers on the streets , too. Place almost like from a fairytale. 

Nothing lasts forever , so it came time to swam away from port in Ostend.  Last evening in Belgium we made a campfire. We were singing along by the fire to the midnight.

When the morning came I was rested and that was strange , but I was Ready to go!

Fit cake

Everybody needs sweets. Here I have recipes for healthy cakes which you can make in your own kitchen. In comments write which is your favourite ones.

Dietary chocolate cake

Ingredients:

Biscuit: 5 eggs, 2 tbsp. powder of cocoa, 3-4 tbsp. of oat bran, 2 tbsp. of fructose ( to taste), 1/2 tbs. baking soda.

Cream: 300-400g cottage cheese, Stevia( to taste)

Making:

  For biscuit: mix  yolks with bran, cocoa, fructose and baking powder. Then gently enter the whipped egg whites to the resulting mass. Pour the dough into an oily form and bake until cooked.

Curd cream is made from 300-400 soft curds and stevia to taste. Whip the cream and spread on the biscuit layers.

Carrot cake

Ingredients:

350g carrots, 4 eggs 6 tbsp. of oat bran, 1 tbsp. of fructose, 1/2 tbsp baking soda, 2 tbsp, grated orange peel, 1/2 tbsp of cinnamon, pinch of salt

Making:

 For the preparation of carrot biscuit grated carrots, bran, fructose, yolks and baking powder are required. All ingredients must be mixed well. Separately, whisk the proteins with salt to a state similar to snow drifts, and add them to the bulk, gently stirring.  You must first add a third of the egg-whites, mix thoroughly and only then add the rest, gently stirring from bottom to top.

The resultant dough is put in the oven for about 30-40 minutes. The resulting bakery should be cooled, cut it into pieces. Put cream made of whipped cottage cheese with stevia or fructose. To make the cream more liquid, you can add milk or yogurt.

Australian Brushturkey.#21

This bird is from the megapodiidae family. Lives in the eastern part of Australia. This bird is the largest of three representatives of this family. Australian Brushturkey, despite its name, is not related to turkey.

Australian Brushturkey has a black feathers on his body. It has a red head and a yellow neck. It has a blac strong beack. This animal has big feet. These birds are not afraid of people and are happy to steal food from them.

This animal has 60- 75 centimeter langht and weight 10-16 kilograms. This animal builds large nests from dry sticks on the ground. The nest is built by the dominant male. Folded eggs by a female are very large. Female lays 16- 21 eggs. Australian Brushturkey eggs are a favorite delicacy of snakes and Dingo dogs.

Long way

Hello everyone!

Next piece of my sailing adventure was trip from Stavanger (Norway) to Ostend (Belgium). It was probably the hardest part of cruise. I was a bit afraid when I realized that before me are two weeks without any land on the horizon, but I was excited too. I like taking up new challenges and risk.

 

This long way was passing by without any big surprises except storm, of course. We had a lot of time for everything.  We were making up all our delays and even working more than standard. Thanks to this, we did two school weeks in only one.

The longest sailing equals the worst seasickness. In moments like those, everyone misses land and home.  Somehow, I survived it. It was such a big test of my endurance not only physical but mental, too. I was proud that I didn’t give up. Despite it, I breathed a sigh of relief when I felt ground under my feet. 

Belgian port – Ostend – seemed really interesting. It was my first time in that country co I was curious about everything.

Laughing Kookaburra.#20

This is an Australian bird from the kingfisher family. This bird lives in the northesrn part of the continent.This animal is inhabited by: forests of eucalyptus, forests, parks and gardens. Laughing Kookaburra live in nests or hollow.

This bird has white feathers on the body but the wings are black speckled at the ends in blue. The tail is black with brown spots. It has a big black eyes and black-white beak. Laughing Kookaburra has bright yellow feet.

This animal has 40-45 centimeter lenght and weight 340 grams. This bird eats insects, invertebrates, small mammals, birds and their chicks. This bird doesn't kingfishers but occasionally it can do it. Famele consisc of 2-4 snow-white eggs. The chicks come out of the eggs naked and blind but they are similar in size to the adults.

How to wear wicker bag?

I told you about this thing some time ago. It’s going to be the trendiest accesories of ss/18 season. We saw wicker bags year ago, but their best time is NOW! There are thousands of types. I reccomend you small bags with chain. It’ simple and subtle, not extremely at all. 

 

1. Holidays

What about maxi dress and sandals? Quintessence of summer outfit. Maybe it’s good opportunity to choose total look? Just think about this walks at the water’s edge. Patterns will be great too - as you know I’m in love with flowers now. You can think about stripes. It’s marine style, something perfect for holidays. 

2. Wicker bag as something special

It’s good to mix classics and the trendiest thing. If yours outfit is very simple (white tshirt, denim skirt) you can add wicker bag with colourful scarf or prints. Classic + crazy colour is always good choice. 

3. Work

Isn’t it too crazy? I don’t think so. Wicker bag can be elegant. If you wear high heels and elegant jacket outfit will look OK. Think about jewellery. If chain is gold, it will be good if your jewellery be gold too.
