The author of "Vampire Knight" is Hino Matsuri. It was published by Hakusensha and in Poland by Waneko.
It's shojo genre - designed for girls; romantic. Manga has 12 tomes. The first tome was published in January 2010 and the last in February 2014.
The story is about Yuki Cross, Zero Kiryu and Kaname Kuran. Yuki and Zero are the guardians
of the Academy founded by her father. Kaien Cross by creating the Academy
believed that humans and vampires can live together, so Yuki and Zero have to
protect this secret. The dorm is divided into day and night. Normal people
learn there for the day and vampires at night. Class night is admired
by the girls from the daily dorm. Although they can’t approach them without
guards.
An elite school, wonderful students and many secrets to discover ... What more could you want?
This is one of my first manga that I came across. I encourage you to read it and watch the two series of the anime "Vampie Knight" and "Vampire Knight Guilty". Very good storyline, typical shojo genre. Many Scientific Basis of Management actions that extend through the 19 tomes.
