Major Lazer is an electronic music project. A group founded by American music producer Diplo together with British DJ Switch in 2008. In 2011 Switch has gone two music producers Jillionaire and Walshy Fire replaced him. Their music combines reggae and dancehall with electronic dance music such as electro hause and moombahton. They have two albums: 'Guns Don't Kill People... Lezers Do' (2009) and 'Free the Universe' (2013). They have three mini-albums: 'Lazers Never Die' (2010), 'Original Don' (2011) and 'Apocalypse Soon' (2014). On the 1st of June 2015 their third album titled 'Peace Is the Mission' is supposed to appear. The group also recorded album with Snoop Dogg 'Reincarnated'. Their piece 'Hold the Line' was used in the soundtrack of game FIFA 10. In 2011 samples of 'Pon de Floor' was used for the song 'Run the World (Girls)' by american singer Beyoncé.
