Garand V2

Hi everybody !

Today you are going to read some useless info about M14. It was a semi carabine made to replace M1 Garand because it was too heavy. Here is a photo :

History of this weapon:
As I said , american army wanted to replace M1 Garand because it was too heavy and had only 8 rounds loaded in very not comfortable way. During WWII there were few attemps to create M1 with normal magazine but it eneded on few projects. After some after war tries american army tried to use it , but it was not much more effective than M1 so in 1963 production has ended and this rifle is used by some special forces.
Technical things:
Years of productions:1959-1963
Caliber : 7.62
Magazine capacity : 20 rounds
Lenght: 1129mm
Rate of fire : 700 - 750 rnds/min

And as always some shooting:
And that's it for this short post

See you later !
