In next posts I'll tell you about Korean bands I am listening to. The first and definitely my favourite is BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys. I started my adventure with k-pop with them. BTS is is a seven-member band formed by Big Hit Entertainment. Their Korean name is Bangtan Sonyeondan what means Bulletproof Boy Scouts. They debuted on 13 June 2013, with the song "No More Dream" from their first album 2 Cool 4 Skool. They released 2 albums and 5 mini albums. They are known in the whole world.Their fans are officially called A.R.M.Y. which stands for Adorable Representative M.C for Youth.
These are the names of members:
- Jin (visual, vocal, the oldest)
- Suga (rapper)
- J-hope (rapper, dancer)
- Rap Monster (rapper, leader)
- Jimin (vocal, dancer)
- V (vocal)
- Jungkook (vocal, dancer, rapper, maknae - the youngest)
Known for their large international fanbase, having performed and sold out tours in Asia, Europe, Australia, North America, and South America, BTS's outstanding performances won them the Best World Performer award in the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
