Dromedary is large mammal from the camel family. This animal live in the australia. It is related a camel, lama, alpaca, indian gwanako and andean vicuana. This animal is used to obtain milk, wool, skin and for entertainment purposes.
The camel was domesticated in Australia about 6000 years ago. These animals are used as a means of locomotion in desert areas. It has sand color of fur and long strong legs. On the ridge these is only one jump covered with black fur. This animal has black eyes.
Camels are resistant to lack of water at high ambient temperature becouse their body can store stocks. It eats all plants in the desert for example with wetlands and dry shoots. This animal weighs 600-1000 kilograms and is tall at the withers 180-210 centimeters. the pregnancy lasts for 12-13 months and one baby is born.
