Cape Barren Goose. #24

Cape Barren Goose is a large bird of the Anatidae family. This animal closes the islands located on the southern coast of Australia.

It has 75-100 centimeters of body length and a wingspan of 137-160 centimeters. Males are a little bit bigger than females.

This animal has a short neck and a small head with a short beak. This animal has pink legs with black fingers and sharp claws. Between the fingers it has a webbed membrane that makes it easier to move on water. This bird has gray feathers with darker spots on the wings. This animal has black small eyes.

It lives on grassy slopes. The strange thing is that despite the membranes between the fingers almost does not enter the water.
This animal is herbivorous. It hunts on grassy slopes and sandy beaches.

Than you for reading my blog. See you later.
