"Boom Clap" is a song from the soundtrack to the movie called "The Fault in Our Stars". It was written by Charlotte Aitchison (Charli XCX), Fredrik Berger, Patrik Berger and Stefan Gräslund. The producers are also Patrik Berger and Stefan Gräslund. It was recorded by Charli XCX and released on the 15th of June 2014.
Charli XCX, the artist that performed the song, is a British singer and songwriter. Her real name is Charlotte Emma Aitchison, while Charli XCX is just a stage name. She has already released three albums: "14", "True Romance" and "Sucker" which is the most successful one. She is also supporting Katy Perry on her tour "Prismatic World Tour" right now. That's like, a huge achievement, because Katy Perry is one of the biggest pop stars right now.
"Boom Clap" did very, very well on the charts all over the world. It was no. 6 on the UK Singles Chart and no. 8 on the US Billboard Hot 100. I personally really like this song, even though I don't listen to it much anymore.
