Good Morning! Today there is another Russian. Andrey
Malanichev was born on 10th of January 1977 in Moscow. He’s honored
master in powerlifting of Russia, Elite Pro powerlifter. He has been multiple
master of Russia, Europe. He’s winner of many international competitons. He has
won Cup of the Titans for 5 times (in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2015). Andrey has
set more than 20 world records.
Before powerlifting he was fond of free style
wrestling. Then he was competing in amateur boxing. By the time, when he was 16
years old he came to gym with his trainer Andrey Chuprin. Malanichev could
squat with 120kg and bench press with 80kg.
He was twice named as the strongest lifter in the
world.
His records is squat with 385kg, bench press with
260kg, deadlift with 405kg. Andrey’s totals is 1150kg raw.
In 1999 he was competing in European championship in
Poland in 110kg category. He placed first.
