Santa Claus /Father Christmas

Santa Claus-bishop is from Turkey. He was born in 270 in Mira. He helped poor and necessitous people. He was a good-hearted man.
He gave people all he had  and he helped a lot of people by talking to them.
On the 6th of December catholic church adores Santa Claus, he is a patron saint of children also sailors, fishermen, prisoners and maidens.
This  day is special for children, because in the night Father Christmas bringspresents for polite children. Children all year try be obedient and nice. Every child knows that Santa Claus gives rod to unkind children. In the morning presents or rods are under pillow, in shoes or socks. That depends on tradition.

In the Easter Orthodox Church this bishop is the most important patron saint.
Generally Father Christmas is old with grey,  long beard. He is tall and overweight. He always wears red clothes and glasses.

In the other parts of world instead of Santa Claus there are Ded Moroz, Child Jesus or Kris Kringle.
