Rüstem Pasza

Rüstem Pasza- he was born around 1500 in Skradin. He died on July 10, 1561 in Istanbul. He was probably the son of swineherd and had a brother and a sister. He was a great vizier at the time of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. He was of Croatian origin. As a child, he went to Istanbul, where he did a career in the army and administration. He won there knowledge and experience.In the years 1544-1553 and 1555-1561 he held the office of Grand Vizier. He appeared in season 3. He was in love with Mihrimah, the daughter of Sultan Suleiman. He married her November 26, 1539 the year with the help of sultanas Hurrem. They had three children together: two daughters and a son. But she wasn't in love with him.He was a favorite Sultanas Hürrem. She helps him gain the position of grand vizier. He was faithful to her until his death. He was a confident person, brave and clever. He contributed to the death of Prince Mustafa. Together with sultana Hurrem and his wife Sultana Mihrimah organized conspiracy.At death Rüstem had 815 land in Romania and Anatolia, 476 mills 1700 slaves, 2900 war horses and 1,106 camels. He led the charity, built his own mosque against Suleiman Mosque in Istanbul.
