What are you able to see in the capital of Germany?
Main attractions are:
Brandenburg Gate- one of the things that Berlin is known for. This gate is 26 meters high and 65,5 meters wide. At the top of construction is a five meters sculpture. It's a goddess with wings.
Holocaust Memorial- memorial to the murdered Jews of Europe. Monument consists of two thousand seven hundred and eleven concrete blocks. Area of the memorial- 19 thousand km²
Reichstag- parliament building, makes really amazing first impression.
Berlin Cathedral- huge evangelical Cathedral, it was built in 1894-1905. This is made in Italian renaissance style. This is a place where any important church events happen.
Pergamon Museum- inside there is a large monument of Zeus and it consists of three museums: Islamic Art Museum, The Middle East Museum, Antiquity Collection.
Potsdamer platz- one of the biggest and full of activities place in Berlin.
Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church- evangelical temple in the centre of Berlin. This church is ruined, inside of it there is a memorial museum, opposite this building there's new beautiful church (with warm floor:D).
In my opinion Berlin is a city worth seeing. In this city there is really a lot of museums!
