Foster the People is an american music group. The group consists of Mark Foster (vocals, keyboard, piano, guitar and mixes), Mark Puntius (percussion), Cubbie Fink (bass guitar), Isom Innis (maracas and vocals), Sean Cimino (electric guitar and vocals) and Phil Danyew (guitar and vocals). Their music's type are indie pop, indie rock, indietronica and neo-psychedelia. They have two albums: 'Torches' (23 May 2011) and 'Supermodel' (14 May 2014). In 2011 the group got two nominations for Grammy Awards in the categories: 'Best Performance pop duet/group' for a song 'Pumped Up Kicks' and 'Vocal Best Album Alternative' for album 'Torches'. At first, the group name was 'Foster & the People' but fans shortened this name to 'Foster the People' and musicians decided that they will perform and appear under that name.
