Ibrahim Pasza

Parga Ibrahim Pasza- he was born in 1493 in Parga, and died March 15, 1536 in Constantinople (the capital of the Ottoman Empire). He came from a family of fishermen. He was a Greek. Often in the series, Ibrahim says, "I Ibrahim, son of a fisherman from Parga".In the years 1523-1536 he was the Grand Vizier of the Ottoman Empire. He has participated in many wars. He was commander of the Ottoman army. He participated in the Battle of Mohács, the siege of Vienna and War Turkish-Persian. He was a very wise and strong on the battlefield.Ibrahim loved art, he had in his palace many paintings and sculptures. He was often called an infidel by his statues standing in the garden, which appeared gods. He knew many languages. His favorite pastime was playing the violin. He was the best friend of the king-Sultan Suleiman.He was also the brother in law, because he married the sister of the Sultan-Hatice. Ibrahim had three children. Twins Hurcihan and Osman with his wife, Sultana Hatice and her daughter Esmanur (formerly Kader) with his mistress Nigar Kalfa. Around 1520 years he gave to the sultan slave-Roksol, which later became the sultana Hurrem.He was killed by suffocation on the orders of the Sultan.Why?Ibrahim was very proud and wanted to rule the state.
