Mihrimah- she was born on March 21, 1522 and died on 25 January 1578. She was the daughter of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent and his wife Roksolana also known as Hürrem. She was the sister of Sultan Selim II Drunkard. Mihirmah was the second child of Sultan Suleyman and Roksol. She was born in the Spring equinox. Her name in Ottoman mean: Day and Night. She was the beloved daughter of Suleiman.Hürrem and Mihrimah often have used it for their own purposes. After her parents died, she became only the second Valide Sultan's harem of his younger brother - Sultan Selim II Drunkard. Her successor was in-law - Nurbanu (Cecilia) Valide Sultan. Mihrimah was very similar to her mother - she was not afraid to speak his mind and always stood up behind Hurrem, who told her to "do not trust anyone outside his family." She was the wife of Grand Vizier Rustem Pasha. With Rustem Pasha had three children - Humasah Ayse Sultan, Mehmed Bey Sultanzade and Sultanzade Murad Bey. But she was not in love with him. Her first love was the chamberlain - Bali Bey, but it was unrequited love. Then she fell in love with Yahya Efendi. Their relationship, however, was broken by her mother, and Mahidevran Sultan. Mihrimah died on January 25, 1578 in Constantinople.
