"Adventure Time" is an animated show created by Pendleton Ward for Cartoon Network. It has debuted in 2010 with an episode called "Slumber Party Panic". Animation in this show is traditional, nothing new but that doesn't mean that it is bad.

Introduction

In this fantasy world we will follow the adventures of a boy named Finn and his best friend and step brother Jake, a magical dog which can change it's size and shape. They are living on an island called Ooo were Finn is a sole human on this land. In the land of Ooo live a lot of monsters, princesses and a mad ice king. Animation didn't changed that much as well as comedy, story telling on the other hand story telling has changed a lot. Now adventures in"Adventure Time" is much more darker.

My Opinion

"Adventure Time" is my love, and a lot of people think just like i do, Finn and Jake went straight in the pop culture world, now over 3 milion people watch this show.

The Amazing World of Gumball

Creation

"The Amazing World of Gumball" is a modern show created by Ben Bocquelet for Cartoon Cetwork. It has debuted in 2011 with an episode called "The DVD". Animation in this show is a combination of traditional, puppetery, CGI, stop motion and live acting.

Introduction

In the city of Elmore lives a blue cat named Gumball. He and his step brother Dariwn have many adventures in this amazing and weird world. Comedy in this show changed throught the time as well as an animation. Now Gumball like more satirical comedic style and animation style now have better quality.

My Opinion

I'm a big fan of this cartoon, I've enjoyed 1st season but the current one is just brilliant. Unfortunately it is going to end with season 6, still can't wait for the final episode it will be amazing !

Old VS New - Part One|Old Fashion in Animation|

Hi, its first part of my posts where i am comparing old cartoons with new ones. Today i will write about animation in old fashion!

-Animation in old cartoons

 1-Traditional animation (cel animation) is an animation style where every frame is drawn by hand on a transparent paper.

Traditional animation has been used in every Disney 2D movie.

2-Stop motion animation is based on pupets or clay figures, in this animation style every frame is made by changing position of an element on the plan.

This style is noticably uncommon and animators dont use it a lot but we can see this in a "Chicken Run" or in "The Nightmare Before Christmas".
