Demigods (pt.2)

Here's the next part of the previous post about demigods. I hope you'll enjoy it.

Psyche is a former mortal woman and goddess of the soul in Greek mythology. She is the wife of Eros (Cupid) and the mother of Hedone. She is always pictured with butterfly wings.

Theseus was widely considered the greatest Athenian hero, the king who managed to politically unify Attica under the aegis of Athens. Son of either Aegeus, or Poseidon, and Aethra, a princess, Theseus was raised by his mother in the palaces of Troezen.

Jason was hero, famous as the leader of the Argonauts and their quest for the Golden Fleece. He was the son of Aeson and Polymede , and was once married to the sorceress Medea.

Odysseus is the great-grandson of Hermes. He is the son of Laertes, the king of Ithaca, and Anticlea and the husband of Penelope and father of a child named Telemachus. Known for his leadership skills, wit, and intelligence, Odysseus is most famous for his ten-year journey.

Demigods

Demigod is a minor deity or a mortal or immortal who is the offspring of a god and a human, or a figure who has attained divine status after death. You might know some of them like Hercules and Achilles from stories and films. Here's the first part of the list of greek's  demigods.

Achilles is son of the Peleus, king of the Myrmidons, and the nymph,Thetis. Achilles was the bravest, handsomest, and greatest warrior of the army of Agamemnon in the Trojan War.

Hercules is son of Zeus and morrtal Alcleme, realted with Perseus. He was the greatest of the Greek heroes, and a champion of the Olympian order against chthonic monsters. He is famous for his strength.

Perseus is the slayer of the Gorgon Medusa and the rescuer of Andromeda from a sea monster. Perseus was the son of Zeus and Danaë.

Orpheus is legendary hero endowed with superhuman musical skills. He became the patron of a religious movement based on sacred writings said to be his own. Orpheus was the son of a muse Calliope, and Oeagrus.

Old hits part 4

It’s the end of the  entries about the old hits. In the last entry this month I’m going to write about  an awesome game. This game is Heroes III. It’s probably  one of the best game in history. It’s a game released in 1999. In Heroes III we control one of eight type of towns in a fictional land of Erathia . We have to choose either a Castle, a Rampart, a Tower, an Inferno,a Necropolis,  a Dungeon, a Stronghold or a  Fortress. Each has different units, for example dragons, ucnicorns, minotaurs, angels and cyclops . Every unit has improvement. We recruit them in towns. To improve the town we must have resources. So we must find them or fight for them. We have a hero, which is commander of our army. So we can develop his attack, defense, power and knowledge. On the map we can find artifacts, that improve our hero. Our goal is to defeat opponents or capture the city or find artifact. It’s very demanding and time – consuming game. But worth play in this game. The best fun is when we play with our friends. But game it offer us  a campaign mode and a single maps.
