Happy new year and see you in next post! :)

Types of tattoos #3

Hi!

Third type of tattoo is stippling or dotwork, as you like. It's one of the most complicated styles of the tattoo, consisting in forming patterns consisting of tiny dots.  Dotwork technique is one from youngest in world types of the tattoo. It is assumed that it is coming from the Impressionist painting. This technique is based on using dots, most often black, which shapes, lines and filling are being created with. She lets for getting very convoluted and detailed packagings. Complicated images are showing geometrical patterns, decorative symbols, filigree laces, religious insults or animals. The tattoo artist making tattoos of this type must be all at the same time very patient as well as talented, since putting every dot in the appropriate place requires the perfectionism.

History of tattoo machine

History of tattoo machine arose in New Jersey in United States of America in 1876.

Edison and Batchelor noticed that as the pencil lead refill of their printing telegraph drawn up earlier on-the-fly it was puncturing paper chemical solution is leaving its tracks at the bottom sheet.
This observation led them that they had comprehended that it was possible with the help perforated sheet of paper to use the template for carrying many copies out, and to draw up the project of the electric pen as organising for perforation. The device was designed for making with the transfer - of templates of letters, leaflets, papers and the like. The Electric Pen was a part of the scheme of the document copying used by entrepreneurs as the high-speed swinging-manoeuvrable engine for managing one needle.

Fifteen years later O'Reilly received to the tattoo, around implemented slight modifications of pipes, adding a few needles and the container of ink Edison as the first American patent for the machine in the project, what many historians think, by that O'Reilly enjoyed considerable influence very much to the development of the one that machines. This revolutionary device was very innovative in opening the door for the brand new generation of the growth in the field of the tattoo.

Edison most clearly wasn't pleased with his earlier project, because thought that the project could this way be modified, in order to ballpoint pen served as the machine entering ink into the interior of the skin and in 1877 he developed the brand new outline receiving the next patent for this device. It was a beginning of the development of the tattoo machine, and idea tattooing can be of the future changed the business forever.

O'Reilly after through made alterations in the patent of Edison from 1877, did good work changing the machine for office applications into the tattoo machine. Some of these changes contained the improved team of connecting the pipe with the chamber of ink, additional switch for turning off the pin and the regulation of the jump.
In the USA and Europe many inventors are still working at  new tattoo machines.
The majority from these authors will never place documents in the patent office in order to receive patents for one's plans often, on account of the lack of time, of money needed for completing the project, or on account of the lack of the original idea. In theory, each time the improvement is an indicator for the design so that tattoo machines can evolve into better tools. However changes aren't sometimes improvements what many times is coming out in practice, and conclusions from these alterations are short-lived. As similarly as in case of all changes, projects are always a trial and error approach, because often what seems to be correct for one, is an obstacle to second and the search lasts

My tattoo

Hi!

Today I'm going to write about my tattoo. I made it half year ago. I wanted a tattoo from an early age. It was my dream - to get the tattoo. And my dream came true. The symbol is an unalome, a representation of reaching an enlightenment. Unalomes are spiritual symbols in buddism. The path starts in the centre of the spiral, and as you go down this path you are wandering, becoming more conscious of your surroundings. When you reach the top of the symbol (the straight line), you have reached the enlightenment. I love this symbol and I think that my tattoo is one of the original tattoos, becouse few people have similar ones. I'm in love with this tattoo and it's not my last one. :)

Genesis of tattoos

BEGINNINGS OF THE TATTOOS

Moko tattoo on face
Ritual ceremonies were original meaning of the tattoo. In many cultures they could let themselves on not only few - most often tribal knight. Ornaments of this type of warriors peculiarly were spread in Polynesian cultures, where of tattoo to do only killing the enemy and getting him authorised (tattooed) heads. The "tattoo" is deducing very word oneself just than Samoan tatau, written through the 18th century travellers.
They are most well-known maori's tattoos on the face, called moko. The tattoo was certainly well-known for the distant antiquity.

In Europe and America the tattoo was regarded by consecutive centuries as the allowed taboo only in the prison subculture and the underworld. These customs found supporting the mafia with reference to eastern traditions, in which the tattoo attested to the ranking in the hierarchy.

The tattoo disappeared from the west culture so that were discovered anew in 1691, when the yachtsman and the discoverer William Dampher got the Polinesian to London of the Giolo prince, firmly tattooed. In 1769 captain James Cook brought other Polinesian, Omaia. Yachtsmen participating in the dispatch of Cook learnt the technique of doing tattoos from local tribes. At that time also word the "tattoo" for good settled in in European languages. It caused the success of the art decorating the Omaia body that the tattoo had become popular to the smaller scale amongst the upper classes, and at present amongst stars and artists.

The first portable electric machine to do the tattoos was patented in the United States in 1891 by Samuel O'Reily. Thanks to her tattooing became far more available and profitable for the masses. So far tattooing was a slow and painful process, made in one piece by hand. Amongst tribes normal pricking was the most frequent technology, some tribes implemented dye into scratches. In Polynesia and the part of Malaysia, pigment was implemented up to the skin by pricking with the device resembling the miniature rake. In Japan needles attached to the wooden grip are applicable. Thanks to that for device very complex, multicoloured patterns, covering the greater reverence of the body often are tattooed. In Tunisia pigment sometimes is being rubbed into cuts done with the knife, some Native American tribes apply thorns for pricking.

Tattoos are a manifestation of the fashion than an ordinary hallmark or an ornament of the body now more. It is possible to meet people worldwide, from different social classes, having a hidden tattoo, or in visible places. The tattoo became an art form of the expression and a way of keeping an eye on oneself.
