Australia
This country is situated in southern hemisphere. Australia is the only country, which is also a continent.
Australia is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean. This country doesn't have any  neighbours.  
Australia is really well developed, it's on the second position in the world. This city consists of six states (Western Australia, Queensland, South Australia, New South Wales, Tasmania, Victoria)
The capital city- Canberra
Area land-  7 686 850 km²
Population- 23,768,700
The head state - Elizabeth II (but  Queen is represented by general governorPeter Cosgrove)
Language – English

Interesting fact
The highest mountain- Mountain Kosciuszko (2228 meters above sea level)
The longest river - Murray River (2375 kilometers)
The biggest coral reef in the world is next to the coast of Queensland (2300 kilometers)
In Australia there's two times more kangaroos than people .
The most popular sports are rugby and cricket.
National dish is ‘vegemite’ (yeast extract that you can put on bread)
The longest  fence in the world ( 5530 kilometers). The fence isolates  ‘dingo’ (wild dogs) and sheeps.
In Australia ‘red dacca’ (red bananas) are popular. 
This country has unrepeatable fauna and flora. Kangaroos, echidnas, koalas, eucalyptus trees, animals and plants, you can't find them elsewhere.
