Gülfem Hatun

Gülfem Hatun-She was born in 1497 and died in 1562. She was the wife of Sultan Suleiman. She was probably polish or Sicilian. In the beginning was named Rosalina, who later changed. In 1519 she gave birth to a son - the Prince Murad. In 1521 her only son died of smallpox.She lost the title Sultanas and was pushed away from Suleiman. She had a good relationship with his sister ruler - Hatice Sultan, and Valide Sultan, so that was in the palace, living in affluence. For the rest of her life she wore mourning for her child.In 1562 she wanted to kill the sultan and organized a assassination.She wanted to strangle him, but she was killed and Suleiman survived.To date, no known motives of her actions. Gulfem in the series is shown as the first wife of the Sultan. Her son is dead from the outset. Most often she can be seen alongside a friend, Hatice Sultan. She always helps and gives advice.She is not jealous of Mahidevran and Hurrem. She didn't participate in any intrigues.Gulfem was a very wise and beautiful woman.
