Exotic India...

Hello my friends !

Today I’m going to tell you about a very exotic country – India. The general area of this place is about 300 000 square  kilometers.

India is situated in the Southern Asia. The capital is New Delhi. The general attraction is Taj Mahal. The largest city is Mumbay and the largest river is Brahmaputra, which is longer than the Ganges. Over 900 milion people live there. They are quite poor and live in the streets . About 60% of people work in agriculture. There are lots of wild animals in India.

You can find tigers , elephants and plenty of  cows which are worshiped an treated as saint. The general religion is Hinduism and the official languages are Hindi and English. The currency of India is the India rupee.

I think this country is mysterious and I want to go there some day. I would really recommend it for everyone !

See you soon in the next post !

Boundary between Europe and Asia

Hello !

Today I want to write about the Bosphorus Strait. Bosphorus divides Istambul, connects The Black Sea and The Sea of Marmora and separates Asia and Europe. The strait has a length of about 30 kilometers. In Istambul there are three bridges:
- Bosphorus Bridge (1973)
-  Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge (1988)
- Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge (2016)

Of course the Bosphorus has got legend.
A long time ago a sultan  lived  in Instambul . He had a beauitful daughter but one day, an oracle prophesied, that she would be killed by a snake on her 18th birthday. Sultan wanted to protect the princess. He built a tower on the Bosphours. On the 18th birthday of the princess, the sultan brought her a basket of exotic fruits as a birthday gift. However  the snake was hiding in the basket. He bit the princess and she died on her father's arms. Hence the name Maiden's tower. Today, there are a restaurant and a café.

I hope you like my post.
See you soon
