SKRA BELCHATOW

Hello !

Today, I want to introduce you short history -  SKRA BELCHATOW - Polish men's volleyball team based in Belchatow and had three team name.

 

Why 'KPS SKRA BELCHATOW' ?

 

The first name :

RKS SKRA

was founded in 1930, and in the first period of its activity leading section was football. In 1957 he created the section volleyball men. In 1977, he separated from the club section football and was included in the KWB Belchatow, and in 1991 the club took patronage Power Station.

 

The second name:

EKS SKRA

Intensive development of the men's volleyball in Belchatow was launched in 1991, taking over sections of the Belchatow Power Plant. Created the club called EKS - Skra, which already in 1994, was promoted to the second league, and in 1997 the league of Series B. In 1999 achieved promotion to the first division of Series A, but after the team fell to the Series B. After the annual game this level the team was promoted to the newly created Polish Volleyball League.
In the 2001/2002 season Belchatow won the bronze medal by defeating Polish in three games Jastrzebski Coal. In the 2002/2003 season they took sixth place in the league. Also eliminated in the second round of the CEV Cup, losing two matches against Lokomotiv Ekaterinburg. In the 2003/2004 season Skra took fourth place in the league after losing five matches in the competition for the bronze medal with AZS Czestochowa. Also lost in the Polish Cup final (which took place in Bełchatów) of KP Energy Poland Sosnowiec 1: 3 (14:25, 25:20, 20:25, 20:25), which have authorized it to a third consecutive participation in European cups - CEV Cup. September 10, 2004 Energy Sports Club Skra Belchatow tied the Sports Joint Stock Company named: Club Volleyball Skra Belchatow SSA

This is a mascot - Bee ! ;-) 

 

The third name:

KPS SKRA

This name is used for now. This is a very famous team on the league world. The team is playing with 4 players of the Polish national team:

My Tournaments

Hi :)

Well, today I want to tell you about my tournaments.

In October, I started game a tournaments of junior high school. This is a rivarly all junior high schools in Szczecin. Rivarly is not easy,but we give advice. 

Schools are split of two groups : group A and group B . Selection of schools is random.

My school team is in group B. 

Now, I with my team won four matchs and one we lost. That's good ! 

Four matchs still we are play in next Monday and in December.

In my team are six players:

and reserves:

What is our defect? Well, this is a cheering. We can't cheering very good, because we don't training it. 

I'm a captain in my team. So, this is a very responsible job. I must be 'the second-trainer'. Despite my stress, I must be a motivation to my volleyball-players,give tips and at the same time remember ,what does the trainer say to me.

I hope, I'm a good captain... :D

Volleyball primarily relies on cooperation.

Polish representation

We have polish representation in  volleyball - otherwise national team.

Play in national team can just citizens of Poland.

For the functioning our representation is responsible PZPS (Polish Volleyball Federation).

Polish representation was selected five times the best team of the year.

The first match was in 1968 in the Olympic Games. We played aganist Japan - we won 3:0 ;) 

Now, in polish representation are 25 volleyball-players. The captain of team is Michał Winiarski and the trainer is Stephane Antiga.

Polish team is playing very good. For example, they won :

- gold medal in Montreal in the Olympic Games in 1976

-two gold medal in Meksyk and Poland in World Championships in 1974 and 2014

-gold medal in Turkey in European Championships in 2009

-gold medal in Sofia in World Ligue

Wow !

Now, in the ranking created by PZPS , polish representation have the third place and we have 285 points - that's very good .

We have three costumes to game :

-national (white t-shirt and red shorts)

- to departure (red t-shirt and red shorts)

- the third costume is rarely use (blue t-shirt and blue shorts)

"If you can not be with us when we lose, you do not enjoy with us when we win"
