Water agama. #25

This is a kind of lizard from the Agamata family. This animal lives in Australia and the New Guinea. This lizard leads a semi-aquatic life.

This animal lives on the banks of the rivers in the crown of trees. It likes to stay between leaves. In case of danger, it escapes and hides in the water.

This animal reaches 80 centimeters of the body. On the back there is a comb with triangular scales. It has a long tail. This lizard has a body covered with green-yellow scales.

It feeds on small invertebrates and plant debris. This lizard has strong fingers which makes it easier to hunt.

Thank you for reading my post. See you later.
