Italy part 2

Roma

What are you able to see in the capital city of Italy?

 Main attractions are:

  • Colosseum –(Flavian  Amphitheatre) it's probably the most impressive building in Rome. Amphitheatre was an arena for gladiators or animals to fight. Today this structure is the most beautiful ruin in the world.
  •  St. Peter's Basilica - Roman Catholic Basilica. This structure is the second biggest basilica in the world. It is one of the most important saint places, inside of it there's a coffin in which John Paul II is buried
  •  Trevi Fountain- the most popular baroque fountain in Roma.
  • Forum Romanum- main religious and political place in ancient Rome.
  • Palatine Hill- one of the seven hills in Rome (Aventine Hill, Caelian Hill, Capitoline Hill, Esquiline Hill, Palatine Hill, Quirinal Hill, Viminal Hill)
Roman architecture is great- I really like this style. Rome is on of the cities that I would like to visit so I hope I'll  do it soon.
