'You're the One That I Want' is another song from a movie called 'Grease'. It was written and produced by John Farrar. It was recorded by Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta. It was released in May 1978.
John Travolta is an American actor, singer and dancer. Besides Grease, he played in the films like 'Saturday Night Fever', 'Pulp Fiction' and of course 'Grease'. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor. He won Golden Globe Award for Best Actor.Olivia Newton-John is Australian singer, songwriter and actress. She is a four-time Grammy Award winner.
The song did really well on the charts. In fact, it's one of the best selling singles off all time. It was number one on fifteen charts, including U.S. Billboard Hot 100, US Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks, UK Singles Chart and Australian Kent Music Report.
I really like the whole movie and this song in particular is my favourite one.
