Elastic Heart

"Elastic Heart" is a song by Sia featuring The Weeknd. It was produced by Diplo and Greg Kurstin and released on 1 October 2013 as a single from the film called Catching Fire. Today I'm gonna talk about the video to this song, because it has stirred up quite a controversy. The video is quite simple. There's only two people starring in it, Maddie Ziegler and Shia LaBoeuf. 

Sia has been accused of promoting pedophilia because of this music video. It looks like they're fighting to me but some viewers said that it's portraying inappropiate relashionship between a kid and a grown man. Personally, I don't think that's what Sia was trying to picture. What she was trying to portray is a fight between herself from the past (Shia) and present (Maddie). She said that she expected that kind of accusations but in her opinion Maddie and Shia were the only actors suited for these roles.

Maddie Ziegler is an American child dancer, actress and model. She is famous for her role in the reality show called "Dance Moms". If you like unnecessary drama and watching other people dance, then that's a show for you! If I'm honest I quite enjoy the show. And Maddie is my favourite dancer on the ALDC competition team. Even though she doesn't spend much time with her team lately because of all the performances she does for Sia.

Shia LaBeouf is an American actor and director. He's famous for his role in film called "Transformers". Transformers was success and one of the best films of 2007. LaBeouf later appeared in its sequels "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" (2009) and "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" (2011)

I really like the song and music video. I think Maddie and Shia dance beautifully. The end of the short film is quite emotional.
