Hello !
Today I tell you about historical fire and some attractions in Izmir.

On 13 September 1922, a great fire broke out in the city, lasting until 17 September. Disaster completely destroyed Greek, French and Armenian district. From 10000 to 100000 people died.  This happening ended the Greco-Turkish War (1919-1922).

In Izmir, it is really good to see Clock Tower. It's adorable marble tower in the  Konak district, 25 meters high. The tower was designed by French architect Raymond Charles Père in 1901.

It's also good to look over Asansör, historical building. It was built in 1907, on top of Asansör is one of the most famous restaurants in Izmir.

                                           Istambul

                                            Ankara

                                          Izmir

                    Flag of Turkey

The story said that after the battles of Kosovo Turkish soldiers were looking for their friends. They found them in a pool of blood. The moon and stars were brightly shining. So that's why the moon and the star are on the falg of Turkey.
