Spain part2

Madrid

What are  you able to see in the capital of Spain?

Main attractions are:

Retiro Park- this park is the most popular park in Madrid. In the park there is a large lake, next to the lake there is a very big  monument of King Alfonso XII on the horse.
Palacio de Cristal is opposite another smaller lake, this is a glass building, mainly used for temporary exhibitions.
The Plaza Mayor- very popular square. This place is an attraction for tourists and good for relaxation. There are cafes and a lot of restaurant.
Gran Via- one of the most popular street in Madrid. There are lots of shops, restaurants, theatres, cinemas, hotels. This is a good place to meet up with people.
Plaza de Cibeles-  it is really beautiful, makes very good first impression.

Almudena Cathedral- The cathedral is 104 meters high and 76 meters wide. This cathedral was consecrated by Pope John Paul II. A statue of the pope is in front of the cathedral.

I think Madrid is a city with great architecture and climate. It is said 'life like in Madrid' so this is a really nice city.
