PAWEŁ ZAGUMNY

Polish volleyball player, quarterback, in the years 1996-2014 representative of the country.
Alumnus MKS MDK Warszawa, then AZS Warsaw University of Technology. Professional career began in 1995 in the Black Radom, where after two seasons went to the Sea of ​​Szczecin. In 2000 Zagumny went to Italy for three years to represent the colors of premier Edilbasso Padua. The 2003-2009 period is spent on game AZS Olsztyn. One year later he went abroad representing the colors of the Greek Panathinaikos. Since 2010 he was a player ZAKSY Kedzierzyn-Kozle. Since the season 2015/2016 he played for AZS Warsaw University of Technology.
 

It is the only Polish volleyball player who played in four Olympic tournaments (1996, 2004, 2008 and 2012). At the world championships in 2006 he won a silver medal with the national team, and also received the title of best quarterback of the event. Three years later at the European Championships with the national team won the European title and was awarded the title of best quarterback of the event. He also won a silver medal at the World Cup of 2011 and the gold medal of the World League 2012. At the 2014 World Cup with the national team won the world title, the first in 40 years in the Polish volleyball. After this tournament, he announced the completion of appearances for the Polish national team in which he performed 18 years.

Mika Mika Mika!

Mateusz Mika - polish volleyball player. Polish representative junior and cadets (years 2006-2009).

He Born 21/01/1991 in Kobiernice. <- I never had a clue where is this city: D

Height: 207

Weight: 86 kg (only muscles!)

He can jump up to 352 cm! And I can barely 2 m ...

Mika is a graduate of 'Hejnal Keta' over the past seasons studying in the School of Sports Championship in Spala. 28 May 2009 involved a 4-year contract with Asseco Resovia. His biggest success so far is to get the representation of Polish world champion in men's volleyball tournament in Poland in 2014.

17 March 2010. Was appointed by Daniela Castellani for the Polish National Team at the World League 2010. May 29, 2010 he made his debut in the Polish squad in a friendly match with France.

September 21, 2014, together with the Polish national team, won the gold medal of the World Championships in 2014 [2].

The Polish national team played 78 matches.

June 1, 2007 he made his debut in Polish national team in an official match interstate (Poland-Argentina). He was appointed to the staff at the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008. From the 2008/09 season played for Skra Belchatow. July 4, 2012 signed a two-year contract with Zaks Kedzierzyn - Koźle.

September 14, 2009 for outstanding achievements in sport, Polish President Lech Kaczynski awarded him the Knight's Cross of the Order of the Rebirth of Polish. Decoration on behalf of the President made a day after Prime Minister Donald Tusk. October 23, 2014 he was awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of the same.

September 21, 2014, together with the Polish national team, won the gold medal 2014 World Championships.

So, this time we haven't got a happiness.

Against his countrymen Antiga and Philippe Blain will lead us to victory 3: 2 in the world championship, defeat 2: 3 in the semi-finals of the World League and winning 3: 2 in the Memorial Wagner.

 

But, not this time.

In Berlin's hall where the qualifier is played on Saturday saw two interesting matches. The second match in which she played the Polish national team could be called as the final match of the Olympic Games. Unfortunately, the match was a struggle for Olympic qualification. Despite a very good game the Polish national team failed to white and red through to the final. Poles in Saturday's run out of luck. Fabian Drzyzga in the end came for Łomacza, Marcin Możdżonek changed to block Mateusz Bieniek and ... white-and-red stopped rushing Germans. Fortunately, it began to confuse the Germans and the Poles once again helped to effectively block and still be able to fight for the extension of the meeting. Before his career in volleyball in the hall playing beach volleyball. with Zbigniew Bartman won 1st place in the European Championships and the second position in the World Championship.

His career in the Polish Volleyball started in the team 'Joker Pila'. In the season2005/2006 he made his debut in the competition, taking part in 16 meetings. Then there was the player of PZU AZS Olsztyn. In the 2007/2008 season he played in the first league 'KS-e Poznan'.

 Good performances in the Memorial of Hubert Jerzy Wagner in 2009 with senior Polish B resulted in a move to Italian club occurring in Serie A2 Volley Padova.
