'El Orfanato'

Hello readers!

In today's post I'll tell you about great horror that I watched last winter. Whole mysterious climate made me that much in love with this spanish movie. The director is Juan Antonio Bayona, the original title is 'El Orfanato' and the english title is 'Orphanage'.

The story is about Laura (Belén Rueda) and Carlos (Fernando Cayo). They're marriage couple and they moving with their adopted son - Simon (Roger Príncep) - to old, big orphanage. Laura lived here when she was kid. Alfter couple of days, Simon starts seeing weird, bad kid that played with him in game. On the party, boy disappeard and Laura must find him before HIM will do it.

The story for me is very interesting. Maybe, If you don't like spanish language, you won't be that exciting like I was but do not focus on sounds, focus on the plot, because it's really, really good. I recomend this movie for all of horror-lovers!

See you!

'Happy Death Day'

Hello everyone!

Today in my post I'll tell you about horror movie that I watched at my friend's place. The director is Christopher Landon and the title of this interesting horror is 'Happy Death Day'. I hope you'll enjoy!

The plot tells us about a young student - Tree Gelbman (Jessica Rothe) who was murdered. Everyday she wakes up in the same day with the same date on calendar and spend that 24 hours in the exactly same way. When she starts to understand and find out she died today and this is why she live in one day all the time, she want discover who killed her and why.

This movie was just fine. I don't know what can I say. Scenes and actors were okay, sometimes I was bored but that was only two or three times. The mystery of "murderer" was interesting and I think that part of plot was the best.

See ya!

'A Tale of Two Sisters'

Hello people!

In today's post I want to tell you about a really mysterious, korean horror movie. I watched it two years ago at holidays and it stayed in my mind beacause of great mystery in the plot. The director is Kim Jee Won and the title of his film is "A Tale of Two Sisters".

The plot shows us two sisters - Bae Sumi (Im Soo Jung) and Bae Suyeon (Moon Geun Young). The girls are moving to new home which is their father. Girls must meet and learn how to live with their new "mum" and accept their's father decision. After couple of days weird things start to happen. The evil ghosts in the house gets out of their dens. Is mummy one of them?

The movie is really really great! One of the best I've ever watched. This film and asian climate of secrets and mysteries were amazing. I hope you'll decide watch it. But you must think logistic to understand this horror.

See you later!

'Tamara'

Hi readers!

Today, I'll tell you about horror that I watched years ago and honestly - I don't remember all of details, but I'll try to describe this movie as good as I can. I must to mention the plot can be a little bit pathetic for you, but belive me - it's not. The title is "Tamara" and the director is Jeremy Haft.

The plot show us a young girl - Tamara Riley (Jenna Dewan Tatum) and her life. She's quiet and shy person with good marks. Her classmates think about her like a loser. Tamara has two secrets. First - she's into magic and second - her heart beats for a teacher from her high school. When others people from her class discovered it, they want to make a fun of her and made a prank. They didn't prefigure she will die that night. And that will be their fault. After few days Tamara's back and has a one purpose - revenge.

Yeah, I know. A typical plot, typical killer and almost everything sound typical. But for me this movie wasn't that bad. All scenes except for ending was pretty nice. The kills were really creative and bloody. I liked the main character after her change. She was strong, confident and sarcastic. I recommend this film for you if you have free weekend.

See you!

'Orphan'

Hello everyone!

In this post I'll show you a good horror that I watched something like a year ago. I want to mention this film should scare you mentally not by jumpscares or guts and blood. I also prefer that way so I really enjoyed this movie. The title is ''Orphan'' and the director is Jaume Collet-Serra.

The movie is about marriage couple - John Coleman (Peter Sarsgaard) and Kate Coleman (Vera Farmiga) - that lost their baby recently. They already have two kids, but to deal with the loss, they decided to adopt a pretty, calm and talanted nine-years-old girl - Esther (Issabele Fuhrman). She need time to get used to new place. At the start everything seems to be alright. But with time parents will know that their new daughter isn't that pure like everyone thought. Will cute face and manipulation win? Or maybe this cursed soul will back to hell?

In my opinion this is one of the best movies which the main motive are orphans and demons. I think you won't be bored, but if you want to a lots of blood this isn't good horror for you. I recommend watching at night!

Bye for now, guys!

'Jennifer's body'

Hi readers!

This time I'll tell you about movie which is a horror, but the plot is more like comedy to me. Although I still really like this one, because I watched it with my best friend and we had a lot of fun with this film! The title is ''Jennifer's body'' and the director is Karyn Kusama I hope you'll enjoy!

This horror is about two totally different friends - Jennifer (Megan Fox) and Needy (Amanda Seyfried). The first one is beautiful, confident, sexy and feisty when the second is quite, calm, smart and just... normal. Different characters, views, goals, but these girls still are best friends. One night, girls went at the party. Suddenly there was a fire. In totally rampage, Jennifer disappeard with band that played music in pub. Needy was looking for her, but after hours she came to home which in girl saw her friend in the middle of the night. She was all in blood, she had torn clothes. Jennifer show up on the next day like nothing happened and starts acting weird. Needy want to know what happened at that night when Jennifer wasn't with her. She'll find out a terrible truth.

For me this horror was fun. I had a great time and mood when I watched it, same as my friend. Some scenes were scary, but not like in normal horror. If you're bored you can watch it.

See you next time!

'Get Out"

Hi guys!

In today's post I want to tell you about another Jordan Peele's horror which title is ''Get Out'' (I mentioned it in last post!). Honestly, I don't remember when and where I watched this film, but my first impression of it was really positive. I think it is really good movie and much, much better than other Mr. Peele's horror.

The plot tells about a typical, normal couple. Chris Washington (Daniel Kaluuya) is Rose Armitage's (Allison Williams) lovely boyfriend. There comes a time to introduce Chris to Rose's parents and he agreed, despite his concerns. He's scared they won't accept him, because he has black color of skin. At the start he thought he was right, but after that Armitages' behavior was changed. He found out a lot of black people went missing nearby. The truth which he'll discover is more terrifying than he thought.

I like climate in this movie. Actors made a good work. The main secret seems to be easy and banal, but belive me - it isn't. If you want to watch it don't waste your time and go. You'll be satisfied and I hope you'll enjoy like I was!

Bye for now!

'US'

Hi sunshines!

Today I'll tell you about movie I watched with my friends three weeks ago. We were really excited and we couldn't wait for it! Unfortunately, me and my friends got out from cinema really, really disappointed and sad. I felt like I lose two hours of my life! I was not only sad, but furious too.  On the next day I was really moody and still felt that disappointment. The title of that amazing horror is ''US'' and the director is Jordan Peele.

Honestly, this film looked to be really awesome, scary and original just like another great horror directed by Mr. Peele which title is ''Get Out''. ''US'' wasn't that good. For me and one of my friends this was totally fail and don't even a horror. And I'm agree with this for one hundred percent.

The plot shows us a four-member family: Gabe Wilson (Winston Duke), his beauty wife Adelaide (Lupita Nyong'o) and two kids - Zora (Shahadi Wright Joseph) and Jason (Evan Alex). They decided to take a break and go on vacations. Gabe didn't know the place that he chose will give Adelaide some of terrifying memories. One day, she'll start sees a lot of coincidence. Suddenly, at night, on their driveway uninvited guests will show up. After that, on the light come up that, they look exactly like Adelaide's family.

First of all - the trailer. All of scary scenes were show in trailer. Anything in this movie were scary for me, I was bored. Secondly - Mr. Wilson, the head of the family. He was sooo annoying. When scene in movie was serious, he made stupid, not funny jokes and all of atmosphere was destroyed. I didn't  felt that ''horror'' mood. And the last thing - the main bad characters. In my opinion, the director wasted good potential. These creatures weren't suppose to speak, they shouldn't be so... human? I think it's what I'm trying to say. I don't recommend this film for anyone. Don't waste your time.

See you soon!

'The Babadook'

Hi readers!

Today I'll tell you about the movie which might help you step back yours memories to the past, to that time when you were a child and was really scared of monsters under your bed. The title of this interesting horror is 'The Babadook' and the director is Jennifer Kent.

The plot tells us about single mother Amelia (Essie Davis), that try to deal with her husband's death. Her son, Samuel (Noah Wiseman) is terrified of creatures which the boy imagines to himself. Amelia found the book in Samuel's room and everything would be fine if the book's plot wasn't about Babadook - the bad ghost which purpose is take controle of the reader's mind. Bad things started to happen.

This movie's plot was really original to me when I watched it first time. The climate was amazing, some scary scenes were good too. The best thing for me was design of the mysterious book which were found at Samule's place. I recommend this for adults but also younger people. Try to remind yourself how was it when you were scared of darkness in your room.

See you soon!

'The Boy'

Hello guys!

In today's post I want to show you a really good, mysterious horror which is 'The Boy' directed by William Brent Bell in 2016. When I watched it first time in the middle of the night I really couldn't sleep, because of great plot. I love when movies have a lot of secrets! Enjoy!

The plot shows us Greta (Lauren Cohan), young woman who arrived from Montana to England because of her job offer. She also has another, darker reason. Old, quirky marriage give her a chance to looks after their son - Brahms. She didn't know that her protege is… a porcelain doll which soon she'll be trat like her ow son. This weird, old household hide more mysteries.

In my opinion that horror stands out because of climate. I really love that weird relations between babysitter and doll. Jumpscares aren't the best but I still think this is one of  the best movies I've seen. But too short!

See ya!

'Don't Breathe'

Hi guys!

'Don't Breathe' is our main subject in today's post. I watched that film something like two or more years ago, but it stands out in my mind because of good and interesting plot. The movie was created by Fede Alvarez. Enjoy!

In movie we meet three teenagers who want to get richer and they decide to break into house of old man who was war veteran in younger ages. Rocky (Jane Levy) that has a hard story and want to live by other, new life and her partners - Aex (Dylan Minette) and Money (Daniel Zovatto) thought this will be easy because their victim is blind. Some of them overpay a life for this mistake.

First of all, that old man from this film was literally scary. I was really uncomfortable whe I looked into his face. The plot is really good for me, I wasn't bored. Unfortunately, the ending dissapointed me, bu maybe for you that way of end something will be good. I recommend this horror when you are bored and want to watch something not too hard but also not too easy.

See you soon!

'IT'

Hello everybody!

Today I'm going to tell you about horror which was created on the basis Stephen King's novel 'IT' by Andy Muschietti (the director) and the title of the movie is the same. I want to mention that is one of my favourite movies and I recommend it, but also a book. Enjoy guys!

The main character is Bill Denbrough (Jaeden Lieberher). He had a younger brother - George - and has a interesting conditio. Billy stutters all the time and that's the reason why other kids call  him 'Stuttering Bill'. We also meet Bill's friends - Edward 'Eddie' Kaspbrak (Jack Dylan Grazer), Richie Tozier (Finn Wolfhard), Ben Hanscom (Jeremy Rey Taylor), Mike Hanlon (Chosen Jacobs), Stanley Uris (Wyatt Oleff) and the pretty, brave lady - Beverly Marsch (Sophia Lillis). They are making 'The Losers' Club' and all of tchem have something to face up to. But when these kids discovered a thing that killing people in Derry Maine they must find courage in themselves, defeat own fears and... IT.

When I watched that film first time I was enchanted. It was so emotional and I even cried! I really can say I love it so much. The plot, characters or actors were amazing, I was sad when I had to go out from  the cinema. It's really good horror, especially if you are scared of clowns.

'Pledge'

Hello everyone!

In this post I'll tell you about the last movie from marathon. The title is 'Pledge' and the director is Daniel Robbins. Enjoy!

The plot tells us about three losers from college. Justn (Zachery Byrd), Ethan (Philip Andre Botello) and David (Zack Weiner) want to inflate their reputation in eyes of pretty girls and cool boys from school. They decided to join to the popular, but controversial club. They didn't know what they will have to do and this will leave scar on their psyche for all life.

Honestly, I don't like this film. The plot is okay, but what creator do later really, really led me. I expected something more. There are a lot of scenes of tortur and blood and it's good, but it could be better.

Bye for now!

'Aterrados'

Hello guys!

In this post I want to tell you about another film of marathon, which I was with my friend. The movie 'Aterrados' is spanish and the director is Demian Rugna - a famous movie creator from Argentina. I hope you'll enjoy!

In one of the Buenos Aires neightborhoods, weird things are starting to happend. People disappear, the dead rise from their graves and that annoying sounds won't stop. If it's not the neighbour, then what…? When husband (Maximiliano Ghone) comes back to home and looks to the bathroom, then reveals it's his death wife hits her head on the wall and levitate in the air. The experts supernatural stuff start a investigated.

I think this horror is on a medium level. The plot isn't interesting at all, jumpscares are great and effects are good too. I recommended that film to people who like a lot of action in movies.

See you soon!

'St. Agatha'

Hello readers!

Today, I'll tell you about the second movie from marathon that I mentioned in last post. The title is 'St. Agatha' and Darren Lynn Bousman is the director of that awesome, brutal horror. Enjoy!

First of all, this movie is filled with really violent and disgusting scenes. For example, one of the characters had to eat her vomit. But if you don't mind, you should watch it!

The film is about Mary (Sabrina Kern) - the young, pregnant woman, who is looking for safe place fot herself and her baby. She finds it in the monastery in Georgia. The nuns promised to help Mary, but she must live like one of them. After couple days, things are staring to change and her asylum is becoming one of her darkest nightmares. She has one purpose - protect her child.

This film is one of the most interesting horrors that I watched on the marathon. Scenes of abuse was in point for me. The plot is very good, I wasn't bored even for a second. I recommended this film if you have some time and want to watch something bloody.

Bye for now!

'Prodigy'

Hi everyone!

Two weeks ago I  was on a movie marathon in the cinema with my friend and I saw four really interesting horrors, so today I'm going to tell you about one of them.

I thought, what film I can tell you about first and I decided to show you 'Prodigy'. The director is Nicholas McCarthy. I hope you'll enjoy!

The movie's plot shows us Sarah's (Taylor Schilling) family. Young mother is worrying about his eight years old son - Miles (Jackson Robert Scott). The boy has problems with talking to others kids, making friends and cooperation. But he's smarter than normal boys and girls in his age. One night, Miles had a nightmare and weird things like talk in other, unknown language. That night will be able to change all Sarah's live in the darkest trauma. Will young woman survive and keep her last bits of sanity? If you are curious - just watch.

I think this movie is really, really good. I don't know what bad can I say. The jumpscares were good, but creators might had more scary scenes. Actors were good in almost all roles. At the end I was really surprise. I recommended that horror to everyone who like goose bumps and good plot in movies.

'Hereditary'

Hello guys!

Today, I'm going to show you one of the horror that I watched on a horror movie marathon in the cinema in my city. The title is 'Hereditary' and this film was directed by Ari Aster. Enjoy!

The plot is telling us about Grahams' family, which in die senior Ellen. After her death, in Annie (Toni Collette) and her childrens' life unsettling things start to happen. On the start she just justifying herself that it's because of funeral. But when things are start to be terrifying and tragic she realizes that on her family lies dark heritage.

The first thirty minutes of this movie was great. I was curious what happens next. But after this mentioned thirty minutes I was just shocked. What have they done to this plot!? It could be really nice horror, but creators ruined all. I'm thinking what nice can I say about this film and it might be about scenes of deaths. They were very good.

'The Nun'

Hello readers!

My last post was about a medium scary horror. Today, I'm coming to you with something stronger. The movie's title is 'The Nun' and the director is Corin Hardy. I hope you'll enjoy!

When I saw the trailer I was really excited. Me and my friend couldn't wait for it. I thought this film will be frightening, but I was disappointed a little bit, when I finally saw it.

Before I tell you more about it, I must to mention that 'The Nun' is associated with another horror movie 'The Conjuring 2', but you don't have to watch it. Nothing except 'the monster' is linked with the plot.

The movie is about the young nun who killed herself in the monastery in Romania. The harassed by bogeys from the past priest Burke (Demian Bichir) and the would-be nun Irene (Taissa Farmiga) are going to Romania to figure out what happened to that poor woman. On the way, the real loverboy and comedian who called himself 'Frenchie' (Jonas Bloquet) join to them. Accidentaly, they discover the infamous secret of the monastery.

In my opinion, this horror is on hight level, but I expected more. The plot should be deeper. The characterization was great, I was just scared because of make up haha! Jumpscares in the movie were so good. I was glad, when I walked out from the cinema.

Bye for now!

'A Quiet Place'

Hi everyone!

Today I'm going to tell you my opinion about horror movie that I watched a couple months ago. The title is 'A Quiet Place', the director (and the actor too) is John Krasinski. I hope you'll enjoy it!

First of all, the plot is very intersting for me. We track fates of five-member family: Evelyn (Emily Blunt) and Lee Abbott (John Krasinski) and their kids Regan (Millicent Simmonds), Marcus (Noah Jupe) or the youngest one - Beau (Cade Woodward). Regan is deaf-mute and she uses sign language. Family must survive attacks of bloodthirsty monsters. But there is a catch - they must live in absolute silence, because these creatures attack only when they heard even the quietest sound.

The movie's climate can be so relaxing and really stressful in the same time. I know it's weird, but this is what sets apart this production from others. I really like it and the frames. This film keeps in the suspense really well. Also, in my opinion this work shows how strong is parents' love for their children.

I recommend this production for people who like this kind of horrors. Not much blood, not much killing, but a lot of emotions and quiet.

See you soon!
