Parfum - review

Hello! Today I'd like to tell you something about one of the strongest productions I've ever seen - Parfum. This is a German mini-series and you can it watch on Netflix (it has only six episodes). The whole story begins when the singer's body is found and detectives are wondering why she has such wounds, because they were very unusual. Then we meet a group of victim's old friends. Producers shows us each one's life and flashbacks to their youth, to let us know them better and unterstand some situations.

The first character is detective Nadja Simon (Friederike Becht). She really cares about the case and every progress in the invastigation is made by her. She's stubborn, but sometimes also reckless, she is often governed by her feelings or emotions and that's why she's taking unwise decisions.

A character of Elena Seliger (Natalia Belitski) is very important in this story, besause of her past. She represents women who have been victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse. She thinks that her abuser does nothing wrong to her, but by the time she discovers that it can't be happening anymore.

For me this series is very good, tough, but worth to watch. It takes many difficult, taboo topics and the crimes which are solved are really interesting and scary. It has also unusual atmosphere, which is fascinating me a lot.

Bye for now!
