Öland

Hi,

today I want to tell you  about a famous and  amazing island on the Baltic Sea located  in Sweden . The name of the island is Öland.

The island is very long but quite narrow.. It’s 134 kilometerst long and its only 16 kilometers wide.  Öland has an area of 1,342 square km. The island is connected with the  land and the Kalmar town by a long  and beautiful bridge.

What’s more interesting, the Baltic  Sea is very clean and warm in this area  during the summer. Öland has got  a lot of attractions. One  them is a ‘Stone  Area‘ .You can walk around and spend time with friends there.

 You must also go to a sandy beach in a southern part of the island. Lots of people go to Öland for a weekend because there are plenty of various  campings and campsites.

I think it is a good place to spend your holiday . I was there two times , two and three years ago. I would, of course, recommend  it to everyone.
