Today I'm going to tell you something about little polish tank concept. It's name is PL01 and it's a direct support tank. The goverment says the serial production will start in 2018/19 , but at this moment no one knows what's the date of it's beginning.
History:
It hasn't got any history , it's only concept of tank made in OBRUM. World saw it first time on MSPO in Kielce on 02.09.2013. Even on the photo there is only model made on T72.
Here's a little comparison to T55(On the right)
As you see , it looks very futuristic.
Techincal thingies:
Year of serial production start : Unknown
Canon caliber : 105mm , 120mm
Other weapons: 7.62 caliber Lmg , remotly controlled weapon station on the turret (lmg , rockets etc)

Max speed: 50km/h on the field , 70km/h on the road

Weight: 30t , 35t with additnional armour plates
Weird stuff : Unmanned turret , thermal cloacking , radar cloacking , exhaust gas cooling system , modular armor parts , can go under water 1,5M (Without preparing) and 5M (Prepared)

As you see , Poland can develop it's own tank , but the goverment isn't helpful in that case. I think we might never see it in real combat , but it's just beautiful. I really hope that tank someday will destroy some russian T90's (Russian medium tank) , but it's only hope.
